Information we collect

We collect only what we need to make Xinvera useful, and we give you control over what you share.

  • Profile information you provide — name, tagline, logo, location, industry, business type, website, social links, and other details you add to your profile.
  • Signals and articles you publish — offerings, requests, insights, knowledge hub articles, comments, and other content you post publicly or within communities.
  • Messages you send through InMail — message content, timestamps, and delivery status. We do not read your private messages except as needed for spam prevention, abuse detection, or legal compliance.
  • Usage data — logins, search queries, pages viewed, features used, time spent, and click interactions. This helps us improve Xinvera.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and approximate location derived from IP.
02

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Match you with relevant opportunities (suppliers, buyers, partners, insights)
  • Power recommendations (Signals you might care about, people to connect with)
  • Generate analytics and improve the platform
  • Prevent abuse, detect spam, and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Comply with legal obligations (e.g., respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We never have, and we never will.

03

Sharing your information

We share your information only in these circumstances:

  • With other members — when you publish a Signal, article, or comment, that content becomes visible according to your visibility settings. When you send an InMail, the recipient can see your profile and message content.
  • With trusted service providers — companies that help us operate (hosting, analytics, email delivery, support). They contractually agree to use data only for Xinvera-related services.
  • With authorities — when required by valid legal process (court order, subpoena, lawful request) or to protect the safety of Xinvera or its users.
  • With your consent — for any other purpose we will ask first.
04

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access — see what data we hold about you
  • Export — download a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Correct — update inaccurate information
  • Delete — request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Object or restrict — limit how we process your data in certain situations

For EU/UK users, these rights include portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@xinvera.com or use the in-app privacy tools.

05

Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. When you close your account:

  • Most data is deleted within 90 days
  • Some data may be retained longer for legal, tax, or fraud prevention purposes (e.g., transaction logs, compliance records)
  • Anonymized or aggregated data may be kept indefinitely

You may request earlier deletion by contacting privacy@xinvera.com.

  • The European Union
  • The United States
  • Singapore (for APAC users)

When we transfer data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with our service providers, and adequacy decisions where applicable.
