Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. You may register as:

  • An individual (e.g., freelancer, consultant, sole proprietor)
  • An authorized representative of a business or organization (you warrant that you have authority to bind that entity)

Xinvera is intended for professional B2B use. Personal, non-commercial use is not permitted.

02

Account responsibilities

  • Keep your credentials secure — do not share your password or allow others to access your account.
  • Provide accurate information — false or misleading profiles may be suspended.
  • Notify us of unauthorized access immediately at security@xinvera.com.

You are responsible for all activity under your account, whether by you or anyone you authorized (or failed to prevent).

03

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or irrelevant InMails
  • Engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive practices (e.g., fake signals, impersonation)
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse any other user
  • Scrape, crawl, or copy Xinvera data without written permission
  • Reverse engineer any part of the platform
  • Circumvent safeguards like rate limits, blocks, or reporting
  • Post illegal content or content that infringes third-party rights

See our Safety Center for examples and guidance. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.

04

User content

You retain ownership of the Signals, articles, comments, and other content you publish on Xinvera.

By publishing content, you grant Xinvera a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Host, store, display, and distribute that content within the platform
  • Use it to improve recommendations and matching algorithms (anonymously where possible)
  • Promote Xinvera (e.g., featuring a public Signal in marketing materials with credit to you)

This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we need to retain copies for legal compliance.

05

Termination

You may close your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms, pose a risk to other members, or are required by law.

Upon termination:

  • Your public content may remain visible if it has been shared or embedded elsewhere
  • Your private InMails will be deleted from our active systems within 90 days
  • You may not rejoin without our explicit permission
06

Disclaimers

Xinvera is a discovery and communication venue only. We do not:

  • Verify every claim, certification, or business listing (unless marked "verified")
  • Broker transactions, handle payments, or escrow funds
  • Guarantee any outcome from member interactions (e.g., successful deals, replies to InMails)

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members. We encourage you to perform your own due diligence and refer to our Safety Center for best practices.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that Xinvera will be uninterrupted or error-free.

07

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Xinvera and its affiliates, officers, and employees are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (e.g., lost profits, lost opportunities, data loss)
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Xinvera shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or USD 100 if you paid nothing

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations. In such cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

08

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Xinvera shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Hong Kong SAR. For users in the European Union, you may also bring claims in your local courts as required by applicable consumer law.

09

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
